Account Information

When you create a Lynqr account we collect:

• Your full name and display name
• Your email address
• Your chosen username
• Your profile photo (optional)
• Your bio (optional)

Payment Profile Information

When you add QR codes to your profile we collect:

• Bank or e-wallet name
• Account name as it appears on your QR code
• Account number (optional, for the "Can't scan?" fallback feature)
• QR code image files you upload

Verification Information (Premium only)

When you apply for a verified badge we collect:

• Your full name as it appears on your ID
• A description of what you sell or offer
• A photo of your government-issued or school ID (front only)

Your ID photo is used solely to verify your identity and is permanently deleted from our systems after your application is reviewed, regardless of whether it is approved or rejected.

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

• Pages visited and features used
• Device type and browser information
• IP address and approximate location
• Date and time of access

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Lynqr account
• Display your payment profile to payers who visit your link
• Process your Premium subscription payments through PayMongo
• Verify your identity for the verified badge program
• Send you important account notifications and updates
• Comply with Philippine law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

We use essential cookies only to keep you logged in, remember your theme preference, and maintain session security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Information We Share

With Payers

Your public Lynqr profile (display name, username, bio, profile photo, QR codes, and verified status) is visible to anyone who visits your Lynqr link. This is the core function of the service.

With PayMongo

When you subscribe to Lynqr Premium, your payment is processed by PayMongo (paymongo.com). PayMongo receives your billing information to process the transaction. We do not store your card or GCash credentials.

With Service Providers

We use Supabase (supabase.com) to store your account data and Resend (resend.com) to send you emails. These providers process your data only as necessary to provide their services to us.

Required by Law

We may disclose your information if required by Philippine law, court order, or government authority.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Northeast Asia (Tokyo, Japan) through Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Row-level security on our database
• Secure file storage for uploaded images
• Regular security reviews

ID photos submitted for verification are stored in a private, encrypted storage bucket and are not accessible to the public. They are permanently deleted after your verification is reviewed.

5. Your Rights Under Philippine Law

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how we use it
• Access a copy of the information we hold about you
• Update your account information anytime through your dashboard
• Request deletion of your account and all data by emailing us at lynqrapp@gmail.com — we will process within 30 days
• Object to how we process your personal information

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
